Who I am

I am Jelena Martinez, and I write every page on this site. I research offshore casinos that take Australian players and compare them on facts you can check yourself: who runs them, which licence they show, what their bonus terms say and how much they let you withdraw. My profile and contact details are on my author page.

Why I built this guide

Crown Pokies opened in August 2026 by its own account, and almost nothing independent had been written about it. Searches for the name brought up thin pages on unrelated university sites, sweepstakes casinos with similar names and land-based Crown venues. I wanted one place that sets out what Crown Pokies actually publishes, what cannot be verified yet, and which better-documented casinos an Australian player could look at instead.

How I research

I start with each casino’s own terms: footer, bonus rules, payment page and FAQ. Then I compare them with LCB, AskGamblers, Trustpilot and Australian review sites, and I note conflicts instead of picking the figure I like. Every table carries the date I checked it. I convert foreign-currency limits to Australian dollars and say so. The step-by-step method is on how I check casinos.

I do not deposit, play or test withdrawals for these guides. Payout times are the casinos’ stated times or what players report.

How I make money

Some buttons on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, the casino may pay me a commission at no cost to you. That never changes a figure, a licence number or a complaint theme on this site. Crown Pokies itself is described as fairly as the alternatives, including where it comes out ahead.

Corrections

Terms change often. If you spot a figure that is out of date, tell me through my LCB profile and I will re-check it and update the page with a new date.

Editor and casino researcher, Crown Pokies Alternatives

I am Jelena Martinez, editor of Crown Pokies Alternatives. I compare Crown Pokies with offshore casinos that accept Australians, and I only use what a reader can check: the company and licence number in each footer, the bonus terms as written, payment methods, withdrawal caps converted to A$, and the complaints players post on LCB, Trustpilot and AskGamblers. I note the date of every figure, keep conflicting sources side by side and re-read the terms each month. I do not deposit or play for these guides, and affiliate links never change a verdict. You can find my reviewer profile on LCB, and I welcome corrections.
